Item 3: No player may compete for more than one team on the same sport or tournament.
A) if a participant does not play for more than one team in the same sport or tournament:
1) The team(s) that the player was not legally registered on will loose the game by forfeit (In the game
that the illegal player participated in) and the $20.00 forfeit will be deposited.
2) The team that the player was legally registered on, will loose the player for the rest of the
Tournament.
Item 4:  Play Off Eligibility
A.  Participants are eligible for play-offs as long as they meet the participation eligibility requirements
outlined in Section III, Article 6.
B All players participating in play-off games will be required to show their ID before each contest.
1) Each name will be checked with the original roster.
2) Only those participants listed on the original roster are eligible to play.
Article E - Forfeits:
Item 1:  A team will forfeit a regular season or play off game when:
A It does not have enough players to field a complete team ten minutes after the scheduled game time.
B  If an ineligible player plays.
Item 2: when a team forfeits their second regular season or play-off game, they will be dropped from
the league and /or remainder of the play-offs.
a) Teams scheduled to play a team who has been dropped from the league will receive a bye on that
date.
b) Teams with a bye do not need to show up.
Article F: - Protests
Item 1:  All protests must be submitted in writing to the Directors of Intramurals within 48 hours after
the protest action.
a) Only written protests will be accepted.
Item 2:  Protests based on judgments of officials and referees will not be accepted.
Item 3:  All written protests will be reviewed by the Directors of Intramurals and his/her decision will
be final.
Item 4:  If a protest is sustained, the game will be replayed at the convenience of both teams.
Item 5:  Protest of play-off games:
a)  Must be made immediately following the game and prior to the next tournament game.
b)  Decisions on all protests will be heard immediately and enable the tournament to continue.
c) If a protest is upheld, the protesting team will be given the victory and thus advance in the
tournament.
d)  All decisions by the play-off chairperson will be FINAL.
Article G: ? Play-Offs
Item 1: at the conclusion of the regular season, a play-off tournament will be held to determine the
league champion.
Item 2:  Number of Play off teams
a)  All teams in the league are eligible, if they have fewer than 2 forfeits
Item 3:  Selection and Rankings of play-off teams:
a)  The final standings of the regular season will be determined by the number of losses by each team.
b) If there is a tie in the number of losses, the final standings will be determined by the following
sequential steps until the differences are resolved:
1)  The team with the fewest forfeits will occupy the higher spot.
2)  Winner in head to head competition.
3) Record versus common opponents.
4) If all are still tied, a coin-toss will be used
A play off will be used if it is necessary to determine a tournament spot.
Article H:  Medical Insurance
Item 1:  Each participant is responsible for his/her own medical insurance.  The Athletic Department
does not carry insurance for Intramural Participants.
Article I:  Injuries
Item 1:  Any injuries occurring during intramural play should be reported immediately to the referee.
Item 2:  In the event of a serious injury, security should be called (607-2000).
Item 3:  The P.E. ? Athletic Department is not responsible for injuries that occur during intramural
sports competition.
